General Terms & Conditions
- Only accounts at level 10 or more for version 6 and more than 500 net worth points and registered at least one week before the tournament for version 5 are eligible to participate. Imperia Online employees are barred from participation.
Main specifics of the tournament
- Four tribes will compete in the tournament: Vikings, Knights, Samurai and Huns.
- Upon registration all the players are randomly assigned to one of the four tribes.
- Each tribe will inhabit its own quadrant of the global map.
- Alliances will only be able to form among players from the same tribe.
- Players from each tribe will have a modified version of the Governments which will be set by default as follows:
* Vikings: Imperialism
* Knights: Monarchy
* Samurai: Feudalism
* Huns: Barbarism
- Players from all tribes will be able to specialize Siege engines. Each of the remaining 4 types of units can only be specialized by one tribe. Upon completing the final level of specialization, a unique Heroic unit will be unlocked for each tribe as follows:
* Vikings: Heroic Spearmen
* Knights: Heroic Cavalry
* Samurai: Heroic Swordsmen
* Huns: Heroic Archers
- In the tournament realm one unique resource will be automatically generated for the players from each tribe as follows:
* Vikings: Rope
* Knights: Bronze
* Samurai: Steel
* Huns: Leather
The automatically generated resource will accumulate over time, without being influenced by the development of the empires in any way.
- Players from each tribe will be able to acquire resources from other tribes in two ways: through plundering during personal attacks and through purchasing with gold on a special resource market (In case a player buys their own offer with tribal resource on the market, it will not be included in the ranking “Most tribal resource sold”). In the case of a successful plunder, the attacker takes all available tribal resources from the defender. No tribal resources are acquired in battles against abandoned empires. After plundering tribal resources from an independent city, the same city can give tribal resources to the respective player again after 2 hours.
There is a fixed posting fee for tribal resources on the market – 10% of the resource being sold.
- Players will be able to donate the collected tribal resources to the alliance treasury once every 24 hours. Already donated tribal resources cannot be plundered during alliance attacks.
- The war income after a war will include an additional and specific amount of the tribal resource from the opponent. This amount will be automatically generated and will not be taken from the players’ empires or from the alliance treasury.
- The four new resources will be required for the construction of the Great temple in alliance castles.
Rules of the tournament
- Game speed of Empires’ development – х10.
- Movement speed of the alliance and personal armies, and all other missions – the standard for a realm х10.
- All players start with 1 million of each standard resource and bonus items.
- Alliances are formed by up to 30 members (only players from the same tribe can form an alliance.).
- Players’ attack max net points range is x5.
- The army upkeep will vary depending on the percent that the army represents from the total networth of the player.
- After 7 hours, units with completed training will be auto-mobilized on login or on each hour while the player is online.
- Тhe attacker will no longer receive gold for the pillaged population, but 50% of it. Captured population will be unloaded in the domain from which the attack was sent. In case that it was a military post, the captured population would be lost.
- Remote Holdings (Colonies, Trade Posts, Military Posts) can be established across the entire global map.
- No Vacation Mod.
- No Holiday Protection.
- No Daily quests.
- No Achievements.
- No Global events.
- No Tournaments.
- No Temple subscription.
- No Caves of Conquest.
- No Resource camps.
- No medal Warrior of the day.
- No Alliance Events
- No medals for Leagues.
- Both personal and alliance Premium will be available with a one-time fee.
- The number of attacks that each player can send to barbarian camps and independent cities is limited to 30 and 50 attacks per day.
- Players will be able to send reinforcements to their allies. An ally can receive an army worth no more than 50% of his net points. An ally can send an army in reinforcements worth no more than 50% of the gold equivalent of his entire available army. There will be a limit to the number of reinforcements sent and received at the same time; you can send an army to support only one ally, and take advantage of the military support of only one of the members of the alliance at a time. It is not possible to receive or send more than one reinforcement mission at the same time.
- The limit for deployed army in an alliance holding is 7 million.
- Diamonds withdraw out of the alliance treasury will not be allowed.
Influence & Alliance Castles
- There will be 9 Alliance castles on the global map, which will appear on the 15th day after the tournament begins.
- Castles expand their area of influence through the construction of Great Temple; however, their influence is not accounted for as a percentage of map area retained, but as the accumulation of Influence Points instead.
- 1 account /exclusive zone/ capital within the influence area of an alliance castle = 1 Influence Point.
- Influence Points are accumulated over time and are being awarded each hour after 1 hour has passed since the castle was captured.
- If an alliance loses control over one of its alliance castles – it still gets to keep the Influence Points accumulated so far.
- If an account falls within the area of influence of the two castles, it will grant Influence Points to the castle with the higher level of Great Temple. If both Castles have the same level of Great Temple – the account grants Influence Points to the closest Castle.
- Alliance or Federation members whose empires are located in the influence range of their own or allies’ Castle benefit from 5% production bonus, +5 daily happiness bonus with global effect and +5 morale bonus. It will be possible for alliances of different tribes to enter into a federation. In a war or under the influence of an alliance from another tribe that you are not in a federation with, all empires located in the enemy influence range have 5% lower production, -5 daily happiness minus with global effect and -5 morale.
Ranking
- The alliance with the most Influence points is declared a Champion, while the teams placed 2nd and 3rd by Influence points become silver and bronze medalists respectively.
- If two or more alliances have exactly the same amount of Influence points, the second criteria at the end are the net points of the alliance.
- In case less than 10 alliances manage to score any influence points, alliances without influence points will also be ranked in the final top 10 by net worth points.
Awards
- Players from the alliances in the top 3 in the final ranking will receive champion medals in their profiles.
- Faction victory medal - awarded to all players from the tribe of the winning alliance who have more than 10 000 points.
- Participation medal - awarded to all players with more than 10 000 points.
- Special medal for highest amount of tribal resource donated to the alliance treasury.
- Special medal for highest amount of looted tribal resource (combined for all four resources).
- Special medal for highest amount of tribal resource sold on the market (combined for all four resources).
- Alliances qualified in top 10 of the final ranking will get diamonds as follows: 1st place - 6 800 000 еxpiring diamonds, 2nd place – 4 250 000 еxpiring diamonds, 3rd place – 3 400 000 еxpiring diamonds, 4th place – 2 550 000 еxpiring diamonds, 5th place - 2 040 000 еxpiring diamonds, 6th place - 1 700 000 еxpiring diamonds, 7th place - 1 190 000 еxpiring diamonds, 8th place - 1 190 000 еxpiring diamonds, 9th place - 1 190 000 еxpiring diamonds, 10th place - 1 190 000 еxpiring diamonds.
